Chevelle trim tag decoding

On a 1969 Chevelle trim tag built in Baltimore there is a number to the right of the cars built date, what is this number and how do I decode it. Is this code on Baltimore cars only.

John
That is not exclusive to the Baltimore plant. It is a Data Processing Sequence number, and once it left the assembly line,it has no meaning at all.It was used during assembly to track, thats it.
It is in the same area as the option codes were listed for 1970 Oshawa Canadian built Chevelles,it shows the RPO Z25 or Z15 code to help document them as a Real SS car. For US built Chevelles,it is meaningless and can not be used as a reference of heritage documentation by itself ......as of yet.
A partial of it is also shown on the buildsheet in box 24.
This was discussed at great lenghts on Team Chevelle in the past.

John:

Could you post the entire line, starting with the build date? I'd have to look, but I think of all the Baltimore tags I have, that the last part starts with an "M".

The line on my tag is: 06AB1284 B M182<font color="red">066 </font>

The <font color="red">066</font> corresponds to box 24 on the build sheet, which is labeled "DP SEQ NO".

I have a theory as to what the 3 digits prior to those translate to which seems to be holding true so far...
