Re: 1967 Z-28 Wanted
Hi Jeff, Yes, I did see that car and emailed the owner last week for details. It sounds like a decent driver quality car with the usual rust repair (quarters, fenders, trunk pan and dash etc.). I figured it was a $30,000 car or so...but, given the $40,500 bid this morning, I guess I was wrong I have followed these cars pretty closely over the past 5 or 6 years, and I have to admit that the last couple of sales are making me question my knowledge of the market. $40K for a driver. What the heck is going on? Thanks for the lead

Zedder,
I would think a '67Z would be in the same league as the Yenko Deuce. What does a nice driver Deuce go for now? |
Re: 1967 Z-28 Wanted
I think the market is finally getting to where it should be. They have been cheap for there rarity, market adjustment as more people are being better educated about these cars. Roger

68Topstock and Roger: I hear what you are saying and certainly don't disagree. I guess I'm just struggling with the increases in prices during the past year or so. As for rarity, that certainly isn't the only factor - look at '69 Z prices. Seems the going rate is in the mid-$50's now and they made 20,000 of those! I guess I should have bought your white car Ken when we talked about it a few years ago In the end, if I want one bad enough, I'll just have to pay the price
