ZL-1 Block and Parts for sale
 

I thought someone here might be interested - a "friend of a friend" sale...

Jim Guthrie in southern California, has the major parts of a 1969 vintage ZL-1 motor for sale. He has block, heads (with valves installed), crank shaft, cam shaft, rocker arms, plus eight NOS rods in their GM boxes.
The block is casting # 3946052, the engine code and serial number have been decked off. Block is dated 3.19.69 and also bears the number 266.
Heads are casting number 3946074, with casting dates of 6/19/69 and 7/1/69.
Jim is asking $8500 for these parts, or he will build them into a complete ZL-1 engine for you.
