Jerry McNeish update at Las Vegas
 

according to www.NHRA.com I'm posting the following thru Sat evening on Jerry McNeish's west coast "tour"
He qualified #63 at 11.361 on a 12.25 E/Stock index which was .889 "under"....then won in Saturdays 1st and 2nd rounds....so check for Sunday results in Stock eliminator(at www.NHRA.com) to see how he did.....Next week is a Div 7 points race also in Las Vegas and then onto Pomona,CA for the World Finals....Chuck Sharin

Jerry made it to Sunday morning, eliminations round three, where he lost to Jody Lang in his 79 Malibu wagon (M/SA) on a red light.
MacNeish - dialed 11.49, .420 light, ran 11.455 (0.035 under)
J. Lang - dialed 13.15, .536 light, ran 13.147 (0.003 under)

Well, old Jerry's at it again! This time, he's at the Automobile Club of Southern California Finals in Pomona, CA, which has turned into a 5-day ordeal due to rain.

He qualified #69 WAY over his index...must have had problems. Anyway, here's where he stands as of now:

Round #1:
(W) E/S Jerry MacNeish, Eldersburg MD, '68 Camaro
(L) D/SA Jim Meador, Yorba Linda CA, '67 Camaro

Round #2: (a heads up run against another E/S car!)

Round #3:

Looks like Jerry made it to the 4th round, where he lost his second heads up run in a row!
