Was looking at the Nov 02 issue of Hot Rod and noticed an article on the FADrags. Shows two pics of Mr Terry Pennington's Orange 69 ZL1 camaro. and that he had fast run of the event of 11.69. Also advises of an upcoming closer look of the car in a upcoming issue.

On the front of the mag is also a RAMJet ZL1 which it states GM is only making 200 for sale. Anyone have an extra 20K they just have laying around they dont need? [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

On the ZL1 topic I see under the different forums there are dealers and one titled C.O.P.O. but none titled ZL1. will there be anytime or would AL1 items be under the COPO one.

I figured that since the ZL-1 was a COPO item, that it fell in the "COPO" forum...thus no ZL-1 forum! [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

As for the ram jet ZL-1, it's neat, but I wonder what GM's new 572 with the RamJet would do?!

as you wish it shall be Terry. Just that since we have never meet it was Mr.--- Guess thats from my time in the Military, one of those yes sir no sir things. Would wish you luck this weekend but I dont think that ZL1 will need any luck, it will prove itself on its own. Make sure you let us all know just how bad you do beat the other guys. Have a safe trip to the meet along with down the track and may it be many trips down [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

I'm sure Terry's 11.69 speaks for itself, but I saw that car in action, and it is ONE BAD HOMBRE! Remember, he ran that number in the spring...just imagine what the car is capable of now[img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/shocked.gif[/img]!

CHEVY454, WE ALL KNOW HOW FAST THOSES HEMI'S ARE THERE VERY QUICK! I HOPE ALL THEY SEE IS THE STICKER ON THE BACK WINDOW OF THE ZL1.. IT READS YOUR HEMI WONT RUN WITH THIS ZL1 [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif[/img] [img]/ubbthreads/images/icons/grin.gif[/img]
