Yenko Stinger YSO71
I have some info. which states "Warren Danotto who worked for Yenko in the 1960s performed the restoration of YS071 using only original or NOS parts."
I was told that he was one of the Mechanics who worked on the original Stinger Conversions/packages. He was also to have been directly involved with Don's race cars as part of his pit crew? Does anyone know how to contact Mr. Danotto or know the extent of his involvement with Yenko Chevrolet? |
Re: Yenko Stinger YSO71
Are you sure you have the last name right?

Re: Yenko Stinger YSO71
Joe,
That is the way his name is spelled on the info I have and that was a quote. I do not know if the info. is correct just trying to verify it as the name is not familiar to me. I do have some additional info from the previous owner on the way as well. |

That's kind of what I was thinking, Marlin. In fact, we talked to him a few days ago, and he was thinking of making the trip to Collinsville.

Re: Yenko Stinger YSO71
I have some title history. It Goes in reverse order from. Joseph Albano, who sold it to me, back to Wilson Motor Co. a dealer in Washington, MO, back to Carleton Motors in Youngstown Ohio, back to Shan Scheirer Auto Sales in North Versailles, PA.
Is anyone familiar with the last dealer mentioned who owned this Stinger or know how to get in touch with Mr. Dernoshek? |
