Delco-REmy Coil

I have an old Delco coil with Delco-
Remy on the top and 425 B-R in relief on the side. In what time frame and application would this piece be used?

Keith, you've got a oddball there. The only oem application for that coil GM #1115425 is "1972 Canadian Pontiac w/V8 (except 350 Chevy eng)". That means Canadian Pontiacs with 400/455 Pontiac engines except unitized ignition. J.B.

I'm restoring an Oshawa built '72 Lemans Sport with a 400 and M20 4 speed. This is probably the original coil that came on the car. I just wasn't sure. Thanks for your help.
