Will Polyglas H-60-15's fit '69 Camaro rear w/7
A friend just gifted me a like new pair of H-60's that were put on his '70 Boss 429 back in the early 70's. He knew I loved them, and he was going back to F60's. Anyway, I'm wondering if they'll fit the back of my '69 Z with stock 7" Rallys. Thought I'd see if it had been done before I risked having one mounted. Anybody remember trying this back in the day????

I had H-60 Polyglas on the rear of my Original (bought new) 1970 Z-28's stock wheels and still own those two tires.....

Tom, the H60 is very close to todays metric radial of 255/60R-15. They should fit as a friend has a set of 15 x 8 American Torque Thrust II's with 255/60 BFG's on his 69 SS and they clear. I have run G60's before with no problem so I cannot see the H's being that big of a deal. The only thing is that the tire may be too wide for the wheel. I would have one mounted up and see if you like the look. What size tire do you have on it now?....................RatPack............

While we're on the subject, will F60's fit on the FRONT with 7" YH rims? (I'm betting not.) The previous owner ran E-60's all around back in the 70's/80's, based on the spare tire it had.

Tom, they will work on a 7" rim, the F60 is the equivilent to a 235/60 in metric radial sizes today. I will email you a picture of a 69 that has 235/60R-15 BFG's on 7" rims. Looks good that way. Depending on how much rake the car has to it the E60's (225/60) will give you more clearance on the tops of the fender lips...............RatPack..................

Re: Will Polyglas H-60-15's fit '69 Camaro rear w/7
They were mounted on 15x7" Magnum 500's and looked great. They were balanced with F60s on the front of the Boss, though. It might be a little much with E70 or F70 15's on the front of a '69 Z (with less front wheelwell than a '70 Boss Mustang). It currently has 215/65 radials all around, but I'd like to do big' n littles to muscle it up a little, since its a no D80/no cowl hood car, and I'm desparately trying to keep it that way. I thought maybe a set of Polyglas or Wide Treads on the YH wheels and some radials on polished 5 spokes for cruising.
