Small Block Build

Hey Guys, I'm trying to build me a 350 for the cheapest price, but upon sale of it, recieve the largest profit. I'm looking for a 375-400 horse motor ,that is still very very streetable! Something with a broad powerband. Any reccomendations on the cam? intake? carb? headers? heads? block prep (decking?)? ignition? my budget is about 1200 bucks.

So anyways guys, how did the Pure Stock Drags go??? Is there a website that i can check out all the races or at least the times??

Re: Small Block Build

The Factroy Stock Muscle Car Drags was the event that was held recently. I had planned on taking the Camaro, but couldn't make it. But, from what I have gathered from the guys that went, it was a great event. Here is a link to the page: FSMCDR

The Pure Stock Muscle Car Drag race is held later in the year, in September. Here is their page: PSMCDR That is their homepage, but here is where most of the Pure Stock guys hang out: Pure Stock Forum

As for the small block build-up though, I'm not gonna be much help. I would say that maybe a 383 combo would be the easiest way to get to the power output you are looking for.
