Correct Shifter?
 

I purchased an original shifter and linkage for my Ã72 Nova SS that I am restoring (this is my first car as a teenager). I donÃt think the shifter I bought came from a Nova but it is the type that came on my car. The shift lever has a letter œT” at the bottom. Does anyone know what the œT” means and should it be there for my Ã72? Thanks.
