1971 or 72 GMC Sprint
 

I have been looking to buy one of these for years. If anyone knows of one I would appreaciate any information on it.

I am not interested in any hotrods, the more original, the better I like it.

For anyone unfamilar with the Sprint, it GMC's version of the El Camino first available in 1971. Note--They also could be optioned with the 454's engines, called "SP" instead of SS but indentical to the SS454, although few were made and very rare today.

I just saw one of these in an Auto yard last year in my home town.It is orange and was GMC version.The SP was almost complete but to nice to be Auto yard material.The auto yard owner parked it off in the corner of the yard away from the other cars.It was not to be touched.I walked past it so often and ignored it.
Well now that I understand what it is,I will try to see if it is still there or for sale.It does need much restoration help though.

I think Dan Carr from the Team Chevelle site has a couple of them. Perhpas he would part w/one.
