Stewart Warner guages

I have three SW gauges identical to these in the dash of my 68 Nova SS. They are in the dash pad above the tunnel(in the middle of the dash). Anybody recognize them? I have only seen one similar setup, that was in a 69 Yenko Camaro I saw at an All-Camaro car show at a college near me. Someone told me because of the gauges my car might be a Harrell or similar. Unfortunately the engine in the car is not original(it is a '73 350) so i don't know of a way to verify where the car came from. The car is a 68 Nova SS with an M-20 4-speed and a 3.31:1 12-bolt w/ an Eaton posi. If anyone can shed some light on my car that would be wonderful. I can provide specifics like VIN if needed. Thank you.
Brandon

The 69 Yenko you saw no doubt belongs to NWYENKO, a frequent visitor to this site.

I can't tell you anyhting about your car, but the gauges were a popular aftermarket item available to anyone. I see similar old SW gauges at swap meets occasionally.

yes low they were lit.i meant they were hard to see from the camaros dash angle. they point down slightly. did your car have locking hood pins-electric feul pump in trunk, traction bars etc? tim.

i got some pictures of my car so you could see the way they are in the dash. my car doesn't have hood pins or an electric fuel pump. it had traction bars, but the previous owner removed them, they bolted to the springs near the front spring mount and under the axle. it also has a hurst competition plus shifter

Indeed nice tach. I havent seen one of the transistorized electronic tachs in a car for some time. Had one in a old 67 Nova many moons ago. Just might have it in a box someplace since the Nova was totalled when rear ended by a drunk driver in 71 https://www.yenko.net/ubb/smilies/images/icons/frown.gif
