I remember that article.
I also heard he got the pallet of spare parts eventually, but have no confirmation of that.

Wonder if the car is back together.

I talked to him a few months ago and the impression I got was that it was still sitting. He was also thinking that it was equipped with a LS6 that he suspects is still sitting in Smokey's shop. That would be a cool car.
