date confusion

705XXX vin trim tag 10E engine 10-22 cast J 13 9

my car
711XXX vin trim tag 10D engine 10 24 cast J 22 9

question --- with my vin later why are there date differences

could it be the engine -- rear pulled out of order date wise ?

My 11A vin starts with 708

A 711XXX vin with a 10D tag date is well off the norm.

Assuming the tag is real, it is possible (I suppose...) that the production order for your car was released and put on hold for some reason. It wasn't engine availability as there are a number of 10E Z/28s with engines dated prior to 10/24.
