We received word that Dave Heilala has passed away. Dave first ran his original owner Ram Rod with us in 1999. An absolute fountain of Oldsmobile knowledge, always smiling and very quick with a joke. Dave will be missed by all who knew him.

I was fortunate to have met and talked to Dave numerous times over the years. He knew his Oldsmobiles and was an extremely nice person

I got to meet Dave several car events over the years.

He will be missed in the Oldsmobile community and at the Pure Stock Drags.

A couple years ago I got to race his RamRod (with Rob Thomas at the wheel) we were neck and neck the whole way!!!

Dave was so nice and so knowledgeable!!!

I met Dave at a car cruse in brighton michigan about 10 years ago.had his 68 olds ram rod there. Said he followed the bulld of the car down the assembly line. Cool story.. nice guy..R.i.P. sir.
