COPO Teaser?
Just stumbled upon this little snippet. Short video showing a supposed COPO Camaro found, that was sold out of Scuncio Chevrolet, (where I grew up buying endless parts from) and where my 68 Z28 was raced out of. Anyone know if this was verified? Hope the video shows in the link.

This black-on-black 1969 Camaro was delivered new to Scuncio Chevrolet—one of the most legendary high-performance dealers of the muscle car era. While we can’t confirm if it’s a true COPO yet, the X66 trim tag, lack of badging, and factory performance options make it a strong candidate. Scuncio was known for ordering COPO and special-performance cars under the radar, and this one checks a lot of boxes. Stay tuned as we dig deeper into its history.Leave Your Comments and Thoughts Below!!" |

Cool if indeed a Scuncio Copo, has the VIN been shared yet? As many here know, Bob Johnson of Scuncio saved a bunch of Paperwork for cars they delivered, which member Jude/NovaMob03 ended up with after Bob. The original thread here w/ Vins listed is long dead, I posted some Vins I had saved on page two of this 01/12 thread, also Jude noted a few in Post #1 including a Black Copo 4-Spd, click here…https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=116333 This Black car owner needs to hook up w/ Jude if he hasn’t yet, who let’s hope is Ok as he hasn’t been on here in a few years? :beers: ~ Pete . |
Both of the black Scuncio COPO's are known.

Does both mean two only black Copos confirmed sold by Scuncio, and/or known existing? Also, is black subject one of the two known or anything more you can share, VIN?:hmmm: Unrelated to subject Copo, here’s a couple cool Old Newspaper Ads by Scuncio including 08/67 advertising 427 Camaros and Chevelles available, also 03/71 Ad w/ Used Yenko Deuce on the lot. :beers: ~ Pete . |

Sorry but your posting noted nothing of OP subject car so I was just trying to clarify. To confirm, you’re saying subject is one of the two known Vins in post 4 link, also not a recent find as OP F’Book link indicates? :beers: ~ Pete , |
The speculation was that the car on FB was either of the black Scuncio COPO's, 9N647907 or 9N641088 - but both of those are known cars.

Came across this thread, the tuxedo black Scuncio COPO 9N647907 has been in NZ for 30 years, current mileage 11,900. Have a lot of documentation.
