Clean '69 L36 Corvette
Neat car with its VIN stamped 390hp 427, 4-speed, and air. One of the best '69 colors, too, in my opinion. Bidding is pretty strong at $46k with over three days left to go in the auction.
I have to say, though, that the deck stamp appearance is very odd. The VIN stamp is crystal clear while the assembly code is completely obscured. I'd want a much better picture of this area before bidding.... Certainly a fake trim tag. The seller and the ad have a scammy feel to it IMO.

Is the AL intake correct for the 390 HP corvette engine? Would it have a Holley carb or a Qjet?
|
69 Vette...
The low profile aluminum intake is correct for 68-69 427/390hp applications in the Corvette.
I like the description..."tea tops"...that's all I need to know. -wilma |
This Corvette would have come with a Qjet carb.

Bids already too much IMO.
