Dist Hold down bracket and bolt correctness

Have a 68 427 engine alum intake that we are trying to identify what is the " correct distributor hold down bracket and bolt". I have seen the usual style of the V looking bracket and bolt, OR is it the Wire Type Clamp with a hold-down retainer and bolt.

Appreciate the advise - 68 GM, Corvette or full size car - as possible applications.

Surprised that anyone had issues with the distributor moving (as mentioned when they were tuning on one) UNLESS for some reason the retainer ("retainer" (P/N 3770598)) was missing. I have used a lot of those, and never had an issue; but I always used the retianer.

I think the 68 327/275 engine from a full size chevy that is now in my 57 has the wire hold down complete with the retainer.

Knew a couple girls back in the day that could have benefitted from using "retainer" (P/N 3770598).
