Possible new scammer
 

Received this private message. Member is new, but sort of looks real. But the PM seems off and I don’t send emails about parts to random gmail accounts.

His username is Freddy b

Received a pm from another site member that he received the identically worded message for a part he’s looking for. Freddy B is 100% a scammer and should be banned.

When I looked at his IP he was located Coatesville, PA and no flags his email show toxic and the IP shows Denver, CO. I will place him in a timeout area to contact me.

I received the EXACT same worded message as LetsFNgo, only for a different part.
Unsolicited...

We sure appreciate our community here pulling together and watching out for each other.

We all had been scammed at one time or another, great we can shut these down before someone gets really financially damaged!

i got a similar message and responded via e-mail...got a message back but it seemed a little off. I asked him for a phone number...

He is now banned. If anyone receives an PM after 12:10pm today let me know. There was an issue that allowed him to PM even though he was banned.

If you place a wanted ad and put your personal contact info you will continue get contacted by the banned member. I would delete any personal contact when posting in the wanted section.
