'63 409 Bel Air
The seller claims this one began its life as a 425hp 409, not sure how you'd tell. Might be cool if you spent some time cleaning it up and sourcing speed parts consistent with the 1970s era when it was raced.

Looks like there is no reserve on it. $35k is a bargain if it is as represented. Obviously would be better if it had the original engine.
I bet if Verne were here he could go over that car and tell us how legit it really is. It is even in his neck of the woods (so to speak). Man, I miss that guy. |
