Horn contact plate screws

1 Attachment(s)
I've been looking for a picture of a horn contact plate for a wood type wheel. Thanks to the last sale :)
I seem to misplace the three screws that hold the horn contact plate on. Are the 3 straight blade screws in this picture correct or what am I looking for? Thank you, Joe

----Round phillips head non counter sunk on my 67 with 19,000 original miles. The heads appear to be a bit smaller than those straight blade screws pictured...Bill S

Mine are the same as Bill describes, but I wasn't sure if they were original. I can post a pic if you want, Joe. My spring plate is also quite different and may or may not be original/repro...

That might be why they're a special part number. It seems the cap comes in contact if the screw head is too big. Thank you...Joe

you need a 8-32 X 1/2 inch pan head screw -- hardware store with a decent fastener section should have it

The plate screws are a smaller size than the wheel hub screws too. I suspect someone has put larger diameter screws on the plate. The screw heads are slightly smaller diameter than the plate.
