Looking for DC-12 working or not

I'll bite. What is a DC-12 battery? Assuming you mean a specific battery for a specific application and not just any generic Direct Current 12v battery. I can't be the only moron on the site who isn't sure what you are talking about. |

I've been trying to by a repro DC-12 for our 62 Impala for 6 months with no luck. Evidently the hold up is whoever makes the cases is not making them on a regular basis. Originally they were supposed to be available mid Spetember, now they are saying December, maybe.

battery
I've had a battery for my 61 Pontiac ordered since Jan. of 2024. I don't believe anyone is making them anymore. Every time I call I get a different story. Does anyone rebuild the batteries?
