'72 #s LT-1 Corvette, Clean Driver, $27k
Man, seems like a heck of a deal for $27k. I even love the 'bass boat' flake paint.... Would be a fun one to road trip back home...it's in WA State.

Not a bad deal at all. But... just to play devil's advocate.
1. for me 1971 is the last year for "performance" LT-1, and even then it is just a shadow of the 70 model. Granted, you have to use some really good gas (like 100LL) to get the full potential out of a 70. But the same can be said for any Z/28, L78, L72 or L42. 11:1 on a street car is on the edge. 2. That paint job is just not very high quality. The black shadow areas are really awkward. |
