WIW! 1984 Corvette
----I just can't develop a lot of love for 84 Vettes, but my friend that works with Hagerty Marketplace has a special one at auction that someone here might like. 3700 original miles and kept new by an absolute fanatic. Every bit of paperwork anyone could imagine, and it's red on red and so so so clean. If there's a downside, it's an automatic, and the fanatic put fresh tires on it at some point. Price with time left in the action is $7,500,,,that's right, 7,500. What do you guys think value wise???....Bill S

I sold a 20k mile 4 speed car about 4 years ago for 16k
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...t-corvette-17/ It sold again about a year ago for a little over 15k https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...ette-coupe-32/ |
I would say that car is worth 12 to 14K.
I've always had a soft spot for 84 Corvettes since it was the first Corvette that I ever drove. I was 19 in late 1983 and a grocery store worker going to college. The manager saw my OCD with cars and would let me drive his new toy if I brought it back spotless. Those were some good times. |
I had the same car but 4+3 transmission. I agree with SBR.

Besides the 1968, the one I would avoid at all costs.
