My Two Cents
 

I signed on as a contributing member here at Yenko.net a couple of months ago. Since that time I have listed and sold numerous parts and it has been such an enjoyable experience that I wanted to say something about it.
The people who frequent this site have a knowledge and appreciation for the "hobby" that does not exist on other sites. I'll go so far as to say it's a better class of buyer and seller in general. I will leave it at that.

Just beware there is an occasional scammer.

Your kind words are appreciated. Very happy your sale ads have been so successful. You have listed some killer items that are priced to sell.

Lynn, you are correct. I will say no buyer has been scammed by a contributing member seller. The issue is when a scammer ( who is not a contributing member seller)contacts a member posting a wanted ad and is contacted via pm. They use a pm, because they can't post in the classifieds. You might want to suggest they become contributing member. This requires scammers to provide accurate information and can be tracked. That will weed them out. Just a suggestion.....

I have not personally been scammed. But, yes, I think that is a great idea. Just request they become a paid member before you deal with them.
