Pair of NOS Delco Air shocks
 

Great day 2 addition.

Never installed. Still in the box. Stored in climate controlled environment.

I got them with a JacPac kit, but used the compressor and air controller on my El Camino.

These will fit a 68 or 69 Camaro. Would be a bolt in for 10 bolt. Would have to remove the metal bushing to install in a 12 bolt.

Someone wrote on the box “1970 Pickup”

Good for up to 175 psi. Should keep minimum of 20 psi in them.

Missing two of the grommets. Used them on another project.

Anyone here with a 70 Chevy or GMC pickup who can check to see if these are a fit?

I have a '69 and '67 with coil springs, they all took the same shock style. I can look tomorrow if they have that style top mount. Leaf option could be different too.

Top mount is not for a '67-72 C10, on all my parts and 2 trucks, the top mount is an eye, same as the bottom. Coil spring, but the mount is riveted on and I'd be surprised if the leaf spring, or 20-30 series had a different mount, but never say never. Might be for newer models...:dunno:

Oh well....

On the box it has "1970 Pickup", but doesn't say what model or make.

Still think it would be best used on a first gen Camaro. Correct length and stroke.

Hello, I'm interested but confused on metal bushing removal for 12 bolt? would that be upper or lower mount? Is that difficult to do without damaging the rubber portion?
Also- is the air line kits available somewhere? imagine those would be pretty generic?
I put some air shocks on my '71 A-Body Skylark with a 12 bolt that I bought new, forgot the brand- they were just painted all black and easy install. Let me know- I have a great Day 2 project that these would be perfect for-

I see you mean lower mount, sorry for not looking at them closer- lol.

Standard plastic air lines used on other shocks. I had some left over, but I believe I gave them to the guy who bought my El Camino.

Yes, that bushing normally comes out using a press and a piece of pipe. I did not want to remove it, because it is needed for a 10 bolt rear application. Remove for 12 bolt. Not sure why Chevy used two different lower plates.

Easy way if no press is, take the blade off a hacksaw, put it thru the bushing and back on the saw...cut till it pops and push it out.

Sounds good- I'll take them. Mostly because I dig the purple metallic color!
