Where's Doug ?? He can have a mate to his Super Man Camaro...

Very unusual Corvette that was at Mecum Kissimmee. It is a bit strange looking in person, but pretty with the blue/red combo.

I don’t like lemans and red. Doug’s Nantucket blue and red looks like they belong together.

Compatibility is usually a matter of what cast the color has, which often isn’t evident until you put it next to something else. It’s why Khaki shirts and shorts are such a b!itch to match and you can’t tell until you put them on! ‘63 Daytona Blue/Red was a factory recommended combo, and the dark blue has a subtle purple/red cast that doesn’t fight the red. I think of LeMans Blue as a pretty pure blue, but it probably leans away from rosy red and causes some dissonance for folks.

Very well put, Tom. I wasn’t as attracted to it as much as I thought I would be when I saw it in person.
I’m used to the blue/red of 289 Cobras.

That color combo is just sex on wheels for this guy!

I think many of us can relate to sex on wheels, at least back in the day...:naughty:
