So I stoped by this garage to ask about the car in the pic.. not for sale.

But talking to the 78 year old owner of the garage and he pulled out a pic of his Camaro he bought new when he was 21 yrs old. Originally 68 RS-SS L-78.. now with 14k miles. He said other intake and headers, basically all original including paint.

We chatted for about 20 mins and I did leave my number just In case. He said he would never sell but I’ve bought a few cars that the owner said they would never sell.

I explained in first post.. I stopped by a garage to ask if car in photo was for sale. ( NFS)

Owner of garage owns the 14k mile car. He explained the whole story how he walked into dealer at 21 years old and it was there. He showed me one pic of the 14k mile car in his garage at his home. It looked purple in the dark pic, but He said it is maroon color ?? He said it was an original RS-SS 396-375 hp car and I said, wow an L-78 ! He had no clue what L-78 is !
He said he has not looked at car in about two years as it is covered and buried now in his garage. I may go back and see if I can get a glimpse of the car someday. Did not want to push my luck that day as guy was really cool to me.

I know there are lots of BS stories and so I thought this may be one.. until he asked if I knew who is Jerry M. Apparently Jerry knows about the car.

Regarding the car pictured here, I can hear it now...."I'm gonna fix it up one of these days..." :rolleyes2:
