COPO Camaro at Chevys in the Smokies

You can see some great machines in the Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge area, or essentially anywhere in the Smokie's. I frequented the September rod runs in the 80's and always had a great time. A long time friend of the family had the #25 ZL1, not sure who owns it now though.

Seeing Johnny’s COPO brings back a lot of good memories of going to the Pigeon Forge area to car shows at the old Grand Hotel. Later the Forge shows started and Deb n I attended ever one of them. Met a lot of nice folks from Tennessee and surrounding states at those venues.
Always had to stop into Floyd Garrett’s place and check out the Muscle Cars.

That COPO has been at a couple auctions.

Went through Mecum Kissimmee 2023. High bid of $180,000 did not meet reserve.

Also at Mecum Indy 2016, same result.
