Replacement Mirror glass for Nova Deuce Sport Mirrors
 

The adhesive on the drivers side sport mirror gave way and the mirror fell and broke. I am looking for the mirror glass to replace it. I have been to a couple of glass stores in the DFW area and they said it is probably made overseas because it is so thin. It measures just a little more than 1/16. They said mirror glass in the US is thicker.
I was wondering if anyone had to replace the mirror glass or have ideas where to look. Thanks for your help.

Find a cheap small mirror at the dollar store and its most likely 1/8 or thinner. US is 3/32”, 1/8, 3/16, 1/4 etc.
The 3/32” is referred to as single strength and it’s not to common. You should be ok with 1/8” if they grind the edge and seam it pretty so the seam is at the thickness of the metal frame lip, it will still look good. Make sure the back gets mirror sealer, glue on a with DOW 795.
