Came with white striped tires too.
Looks like he requested a 4.33 rear end?

A friend had one Red/Black bucket seat conv. 4 speed, AM 8 track radio power brake NO POWER steering black stripes . Offered it to me for $2,500.00 in 1973 when the gas prices were going up. Short while later it was found burnt, he collected on the insurance

This story is going to sound a bit far-fetched, but in 1985 I bought a LS5 convertible and when I started to disassemble it, I found the build sheet to my car and also the build sheet to this LS6 convertible. My car was red, white stripes, top and interior and the LSS was red with black stripes, top and white interior. Both were bucket seat automatic cars. The VIN's were 16 cars apart.

I don't remember how I was able to find the owner of the LS6 but I did. I had a friend that was in law enforcement back then, maybe I had him run the vin? I'm embarrassed I can't remember. Somehow, I found the owners name and then did some sleuthing and came up with a phone number. I called and explained my story and he didn't seem to interested. He said he still owned the car but already had a build sheet so we kind of left it at that. I didn't have a use for it and since he still owned the car, I just mailed the one I found.

I find it interesting that the build sheet they show is actually the one I mailed him. Maybe he really never had a build sheet for the car? Maybe he didn't know what a build sheet was? Maybe there is another one not pictured? In any event, I've seen that build sheet before because it was found in my LS5. Crazy story right?

It would probably bring another 50k, if several under hood parts were installed and replaced correctly with a days work
