1969 Grabber Blue GT500's

Would anyone by chance have any idea how many 1969 GT500 sport roof Shelbys were sold in Grabber Blue with a white interior?

My parents bought one in late 1969, the car was a left over. I was seven or eight when they bought the car and I think that car is what go me so hook on muscle cars.
Sadly, my parents traded the car after less than a year of ownership. They said it rode too rough and bad gas mileage. They traded the car in for (ugh) a blue / white interior 1970 Oldsmobile 88 convertible.

I have always wondered what ever happened to that car. I don't know the VIN for the car and don't know the dealership they bought it from.
I have always wondered about the car (it is survive, was it scrapped; etc) but, never had much luck finding the car. I contacted the SAAC with no luck.
Last year I was diagnosed a terminal health condition. With that in mind I thought I would give it one last try to locate the car. I have no thoughts of ever owning the car, I would just like to know it's still around and, if it's still in the area, maybe I could see it again in person.

Were you in NJ then too Dave also any chance Benedetti Oldsmobile rings a bell?
Check out this Ad below, Cobra part seems a mistake being they were gone after ‘67 but was the Shelby an Auto w/ AC also what mileage when traded in?
If no chance this one fits, please share more details about the car.
:beers:

We were in North New Jersey (Middlesex) and I wouldn't be surprised if Benedetti Olds was the dealership where my parents traded the car.
The car, as I remember, was equipped with AC, Auto, folding rear seat possible an AM/FM radio. The tires were Goodyear Polyglas GT. My Dad would to tell everyone that the car equipped with the "full racing package" (what ever that might have been)
The mileage would make sense since they traded it in so soon and it wasn't used as their daily driver.

All seems to fit very nicely, especially being traded in at an NJ Olds Dealer.
Does the May ‘70 Ad date suit the timeline you remember?

Very sorry to hear of your health situation too,
more thoughts and prayers for you and your family.

Thank you for the kind thoughts. The Olds dealer, the timeline; everything seems to line up.

I live 10 minutes outside of New Brunswick and am friends with a lot of the local Mustang/Shelby guys. I’ll ask around but can’t promise anything.

Edited to add:
Do you know if the car was sold new at City Ford(modern day Liccardi Ford)? City Ford was a Shelby dealer at the time.

2nd Edit:
Do you have anything containing even the last 4 of the vin?

Liccardi Ford doesn't ring a bell. Unfortunately I don't have anything like vin information or other stuff like that. I fear ever finding that car is a lost cause.

I looked back and had saved these two Ads below when I found the Benedetti Ad for what may be Dave’s Dad’s ‘69 Shelby but didn’t post them being I expected they were not connected?:hmmm:
Here they are now if any help to whatever Shelby LFNgo is tracking or whoever may have VIN 9FO28461525 if it exists today.
:beers:
