This is a real deal 1969 Pontiac Ram Air carburetor. The part number is 7029270 XA. The date code is 0379 which decodes as the 37th day of 1969.
It was very hard to put a price on this carb since most that I have seen advertised are either service replacements or restamps. I decided to put this one up on Ebay starting at $9.99 with NO RESERVE. If you are interested, here is a link to the auction: https://www.ebay.com/itm/355503893961 I am offering free shipping worldwide to paid members of this site. If you win the auction, send me a PM through this site and I will send an invoice through ebay with free shipping. Thanks for the ad, Jason |
Rare, original take off, that's worth a lot of money to the right guy who needs it GLWS. Bill

Rare piece, good luck with your auction Jason. I’ve always admired your willingness to put all your stuff up at 9.99 and let fate decide:).

Thanks Tom and Bill,
I used to run a lot more no reserve auctions. I’ve moved towards the eBay store for most of my stuff since most everyone waits until the last seconds to bid. I consistently get messages from buyers who say their computer or phone froze up at the last seconds and they will pay more, etc. Of course, I would not do that and sell to the high bidder. It’s amazing how many people get upset when I won’t sell to them for more. Jason |
Hen's teeth right there.
Those morons need to subscribe to Gixen and just put in the absolutely most they would be willing to pay. Just bought an old Texaco clock that I had a snipe bit for $400 plus on. I won the auction for $355. Doesn't matter that I was willing to pay more. |
Auction ends tonight, Sunday March 10th, at 8 PM Pacific Time.
Thanks, Jason |
$2827.00! I wasn't to far off when I said $2500.00 - $3000.00 to the right person, and I'm not a Pontiac Guy but I know originality when I see it. What a nice, original, rare Carb. Congratulations Jason, well done! Bill

Thanks Bill! You estimate was spot on.
