Black on Black 66 Chevelle SS

Up For Purchase is this without question REAL 13817 66 Chevelle Super Sport.

The Trim Tag and Vin tag are original to this car. It’s been restored but it’s not a Numbers Matching Frame Off Trailer Queen that can’t be driven. It’s always been very well maintained by it’s owner of about 15 years. It gets driven when time permits which amounts to about 200 miles a year. Circumstances now present which require this old girl to find a new Forever Home.

Mechanically., the engine is a 396 that has been gone through and freshened up, and the 4 speed too. All new body mounts and suspension throughout. Paint is very nice, car is straight and the lines and gaps are spot on!

The Trim Tag shows the car was born Regal Red with a Black Bench Seat 4 Speed at the Framingham Assembly Plant. As noted, it was restored and now presents as you see it.

Tuxedo Black, Black Bucket Seats, Console, Factory Gauges, Knee Knocker Tach, Am/Fm Radio, Deluxe Seatbelts. Power Steering, Period 396 that has been freshened up along with the Muncie 4 Speed and 3.73:1 Posi Rear. Not sure exactly what HP rating it is now, but it’s a good running and sounding car that should turn some heads at any local cruise in.
