Rare 1969 Chevrolet 396/375 hp 4 bolt main short block - rebuilt ready to go. 3955272 casting. Block has cast date of A 28 9 - January 28, 1969. This is part of the rare casting series with casting date on the side of the block. Great for anyone doing early calendar year Camaro, Chevelle, Nova. Engine pad has been decked. .60 over with 2 sleeved cylinders. Speed Pro pistons. Forged crank with the GM number. Has the heavier duty L88 rods. Windage tray Comp Cam. $3,250 Located Rochester, NY

You can NOT Professionally and Correctly rebuild a short block for the asking price, let alone a January 1969 casting date. Very nice piece for someone with a early Camaro, Nova or Chevelle (or a Full size Impala, Bel Air, or a Biscayne for that matter)
