1969 Corvette L89 convert for $16,000 !!!
|
That car has been around for a long time. I went to the annual McDorman car show in Canal Winchester in the mid eighties and there were photos of it then, but the tires were burnt off of it with only the bead wires left.

Good grief and their STILL trying to sell it ?
How does one even build something like that back without a donor car for all the small pieces ?? |

Thanks, Pete. Reading the heads melted explains why all he has is the block. Guys been a dreamer for a LONG time at that price point. |

Not sure what you would consider it when done. A re body? Or a rebuilt body? Vin swap? |
I'm pretty sure that would need to be a vin swap to make the original block worth much in a donor body.

The tags are in their original locations with original rivets aren't they? Just add fiberglass.
Also, I am surprised Kevin MacKay hasn't grabbed this. His body-less 1969 L88 is New York licensed, inspected and street legal: http://www.corvettereport.com/kevin-...l-88-corvette/ |
