I always run Echlin from NAPA. The cap is black with brass inserts. RR165 cap & RR167R rotor....Joe

The NAPA RR165 cap is a really good cap. I had grown sour on the rotors though. I have been buying the MSD rotors for the point style distributors as they are MUCH more robust. The MSD's also have a longer terminal thus reducing the gap between the 2 electrodes.

If memory serves me correct, it's an 8467 MSD.

I have used the Napa caps and points also over the years, with no issues. Tom, the RR167R Napa rotor is the one you need. I found 2 new in the box on E-Bay. Some Napa stores might still have them in stock. MSD has a cap and rotor kit also, part number MSD 5500.

Same here on the NAPA caps with the brass terminals, looks stock.
