1972 Chevy S.B. Heads 3973487X - good condition
 

I have a good set of 1972 Small Block Chevy 3973487X heads for sale. Cast dates A-20-2, A-24-2. Translates to January 20th-24th 1972 heads. Heads have 1.94 Intake and 1.50 Exhaust valves. Heads are disassembled and were hot tanked to clean, magged for cracks, oiled and bagged for storage. Heads come with all valves, springs, retainers, locks oiled and stored in a can holding oil. Seats are hardened for unleaded fuel. Jan-72 the 487X heads were discontinued by GM. 487X heads were used on Corvettes, Camaros, Novas and trucks. These heads would make for a date matched car with the correct cast dates. If you are looking for better performance these heads can be cut for 2.02 Intake and 1.50 Exhaust valves.
