'69 Z, Nice Docs
 

I do like this car - but I'm genuinely curious what the crew thinks about the engine stamp. Seems to have good docs but the partial VIN looks off to me.

Always thought the 69 Z-28 came with the cortez silver grilles only. Possibly the RS Z-28 could be a black grille?

Yup, another dealer in Winter Garden Florida who's now flogging whatever muscle cars they can get their hands on. I think there have been at least a half dozen of their cars talked about here including the yellow 70Z last week, and a yellow 69 Velle before that.

Might as well get them their own channel here because it'll be another of their Chevelle's or Camaro's talked about here every other week. (lol)

VIN on pad looks stamped. Real X77 tag though

Engine pad is a restamp.

Alternator Pulley is not deep groove.

----Just a guess, but maybe someone along the line didn't know that the serial # might be down by the bellhousing?.....Bill S
