Prout chevrolet copo camaro
6 Attachment(s)
I thought some of you would like to see the progress of my Olympic Gold black standard interior 1969 Pout COPO Camaro. I bought the car in 2019 and have been collecting parts ever since. This car was ordered with the 9737 Sports Car conversion package. The car is an 03E built car. Jerry MacNeish has certified the car as the real deal. The other Prout COPO that has been certified is five body sequence numbers after mine. This car was a radio delete, M22 car with tinted glass. No console or gauges. No front or rear spoilers... I have owner history back to the second owner. Past owners have shared some pretty cool stories with me... I will share updates as time permits..

Looks great. Gold is such a great color on the first gens too.

Cool progress, thanks for sharing! If the same OG 9561/9737 Prout car Member HuggerSS has mentioned owning in the past, are there any updates of the original engine he noted may still exist back in this thread... https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthre...=140883&page=2 :beers: ~ Pete . |
OG
OG is a great color but photos don't do it justice. Out in the sunlight that color really pops!
Keep us posted with the progress please. Best regards, |
I fell in love with Olympic Gold after seeing a '69 Yenko in one.
Super cool car and I'm glad it's coming along nicely. Love the dealer emblem as well! |
Looks Great !!!

Lookin' good, but I'm partial to gold

Very cool!
I'm thinking there should be a gathering of Ohio sold COPO's at next year's SuperCar reunion. Might be able to get one of each color! |
Cool progress, Jeff. Thanks for posing the photos.
