RIP Bobby. Great motorsports driver, thanks for the memories.

He always seemed like a genuinely nice guy.

One of the three ‘must-reads’ for any car guy is “Best Damn Garage in Town” by Smokey Yunick. Many American racing legends drove for him. Smokey ranked them in the chapter “50 Good Drivers and an Asshole.”

As a kid I was always a huge AJ fan, but much respect to Bobby , One of the Best during the Golden Age of Motor Racing. Always enjoyed him as a race commentator too
