Yes it needs to be rebuilt!
I have a complete, but apart correct L78 4 speed coded engine
and when I say complete:
Correct block
Correct crank
Correct heads
Correct intake
Correct NOS exhaust manifolds
Oil pan
Dip stick
Oil check tube
NOS non dated carb in box
Survivor CORRECT valve covers
Survivor correct air cleaner

Basically I have all the correct original / survivor parts to make this car a better L78 than any NON survivor 100 point car out there
