Ignorant of Mopars, but like them. Would love to own one. Got to wondering what shifter is in this car? My question. A buddy owned a 70 Roadrunner back in the day. It had a long pistol grip Hurst. When and in what were those shifters offered? Was it an option? Because, I go to car shows and rarely see those shifters. I know they are now reproduced. Just a little free education on these B body shifters is what I am seeking. Thanks.

Is this the same car your not selling that young boys car

Has to be the same car as pictured above. Funny that it has Keystone Klassic wheels instead of Cragars.
bbbentley: The 70 Road Runners (as well as the GTX's) had that long handled pistol grip shifter for the 4 speeds; the bucket seat equipped 69 Super Bee, Coronet R/T, Charger, and Dart GTS all had the 'dogleg' round handle Hurst shifter with the 4 speed. The bench seat 69 Dodge cars got a slightly angled round handle Hurst shifter. |
I like it... Red on Red Superbee 4 spd with a Black HAT is cooler than the other side of the pillow...
