As you likely know already, Bill McKay Chevrolet delivered ZL1 #29 prepared by Harrell and raced by Grady Bryant also was one of Green Valley Bill Hielscher's Mr. Bardahl Camaro sponsors.
If any chance it's a Gibb Nova, what color is it as I don't think there were any Black ones?
Ken Hare of Euless TX raced a 427 powered Logghe chassis AMC called Ramblin' Rose so may be him, any more info or clearer pics?
Looking forward to whatever you find out, does the car exist?
Here's a recent link w/ Grady's ZL1...

Thanks Pete! do not know where this car is or anything about. It looked like a possible L-79 Nova. Hard to make but it looks like it has 327 emblems.

I can fill in some blanks about the 68 Nova. Don Kidd was the son of the parts manager, Virgil Kidd, for Bill McKay Chev. I worked there and had raced cars for years. Don raced the car when he first got it in High School. It was a dark blue 327 4 speed.
Virgil asked me to assist with the car.
The dealership bought the car along with buying the ZL-1 from Dick Harrell.

I built the engine for the Nova, installed one of the first Z-28 offset dual Holleys.
Labor Day 1969, class record was 12.06, backed it off the trailer with a 12.05.

Finally ran 11.86 with a .060 over 327, 4 speed, 5.38.

Car was sold to a guy that worked in the body shop, never seen again. May have been painted grey.

Was the nova a L-79 327? or a 275HP?
Also show them selling a Hugger Orange 4 sp COPO camaro VIN 9N610168 from Gibb also.
What was the significance of why they called it Ramblin Rose No. 1?
