'68 #s 390/4-sp Mustang Fastback Garage Find, Stored Since '79
Here's another early Fastback being bid to the moon...almost $50k already. Cool car with a bunch of nice NOS parts that has been stored away for as long as I've been alive.
Are these project-condition early Fastbacks really bringing this kind of $$ on a regular basis? This seems like crazy money to me - is the recent auction frenzy trickling down to project cars too? I sure don't see first-gen BB Camaro projects bringing substantially more $$ than they did last year. Must be the Cooper Cobra tires drawing all the bids

Honestly these cars are through the moon. No end in sight at the moment.

I'm skeptical of this auction, does not run and needs TOTAL restoration!

Wow, original Highland Green ‘68 GT390 barn find, probably not too many of these will happen again so I would bet the final price will be nuts.

HG and 390 may also equal an upcoming 'Bullitt' clone....
