Gorgeous '72 #s 455/4-sp WW5/M22 GTO

Seller claims there's over $100k in expenses, and I believe it. Gorgeous car! I'm a little confused why the entire body tub is painted body color, but the quality of the work looks excellent.

I've owned three WW5 cars, did I miss the PHS docs...

That car was SPEC ordered Starlight Black. The change to yellow was a GIGANTIC mistake in the 20/20 hindsight lens. The re-paint was done when the car wasn't very old.

Been for sale on the PY forums for a couple of years @55k. Definitely falls in to the ''what were you thinking" file with a color change from Starlight..couldn't have been many three pedal WW5's in that color.

My guess would be that is the only one.

That car would look stunning in black with tan. If you were looking for a WW5 and could get it for 50K and spend 20k for a proper re paint back to original probably would be in it around market value, and have one of the more rare correct one's with paper.
