69 phase III hood from JoeG’s Chevelle?
 

Now on eBay for the second or third time, seller claims this hood was on Joe Gs burnished brown 69 Chevelle while it was painted red and owned by his brother. (FOLKLORE)

I’ve never heard anything to support this.
Anyone confirm or deny this claim?

in the earler ad , seller didn't mention it was off Joe's car

I contacted the seller after the last auction and told him I knew the car he described was not aware it was ever painted red and asked if there was burnished brown paint under the red. he must’ve figured out what car I was talking about or maybe he knew all along.

The hood is close to me but really only worth $300 with that type of damage. I can buy a new one for 600 for my 68
