1979 Z28 IROC support vehicles?
 

Anybody here know the back story on these vehicles?

The placard has the 1979 drivers names on it.

IIRC Unser drove a PINK one...

Doubtful being a Coupe but maybe used as a Parade car or possibly some kind of Promotional vehicle?:hmmm:
It may offer little but being Canada Vintage has build paperwork available for most all '77 and newer vehicles regardless of where built/shipped new, could be worth a whirl?

Saw that car for sale recently out of Arizona for under $7000.00. Thought it was a good deal. That green though...

That's got to be the most horrible interior color ever.

I think I turned this color once when I was stuck on a cod-fishing boat for 8 hours, during a storm, in the Atlantic when I was a teenager.

Was that a stock interior color or something just for this promotion?
