Just wondering if anybody has some information on this Nova? Is it real, if not who built it? Anything would be a great help. I'm pretty sure it's not a real one, but somebody went through alot of work to put a bunch of BM parts on it.

Looks like a "take off" on these 1968/1969 BM Camaros.

there are not many pictures of MP Novas from back in the day but I dont recall any with that stripe layout

looks like they tried to make it look like this MP Nova but added the stripes

This is a known clone… We should not perpetuate false information

This one is a 1 of 1 bought originally by the son of the Mexican President back in the day. It was in Otis Chandler's museum for the longest time. Dealer invoice still on window.

Yep, it’s the 1969 “Mexican” Motion Camaro. He also bought a ‘69 Motion Chevelle to tow it with. His name was Roberto Schneider and that’s why the Chevelle has RS emblems on it. He wasn’t the son of the Mexican president though, just a rich 18 year old who’s family were successful bankers/cattle ranchers.

Roberto Schneider was the son-in-law of the Governor of Chihuahua, Mexico.

interesting history of the 69 Motion Mexican Camaro and Chevelle including sitting in storage for over 1 year

The full story of the 2 Motion cars is in Marty's Motion book

it looks much better with the right wheels

The invoice for both cars plus additional storage was $20k! That was a lot of money back then. The Camaro looks great in that pic!
