1111499 8M28 Distributor 1969 L78 396/375HP & L72 427/425HP
 

This distributor is a very nice original part that has been in storage since the early 70's. It came off of a 1969 Nova race car that had a 427 in it. Looking at all the parts that came with this distributor, the car looks to have been an L78 built in late Jan or Feb. The last picture shows other parts that came to me in the same deal.

This distributor is in very good original condition as shown. The part number and date code are excellent with no damage. The cam is stamped 732 CCW. The vacuum advance is stamped MS 163 16 and works well. It spins smoothly with no binding or excessive play. I have not cleaned this part in any way. It will certainly look even better with some careful cleaning.
